My Husband the Hero

My husband Chris is my hero.  For the last 9 days I’ve been on bed rest, Chris has been the most gracious husband and has served me like a queen.  When the doc told me I’d have to incline at no higher than 45 degrees, he immediately purchased a recliner for me (courtesy of gift certificates from friends and family).  He’s vacuumed, shopped for groceries, purchased a nifty lapboard so that I can use the laptop in bed or in my new recliner.  He’s refilled my water glass countless times, and even at 4 am in the morning has toasted me a waffle because I was hungry.  He wakes up every 3 hours in the middle of the night to remind me to take my medication.

Before working a full day, he’s already waited on me for everything that I might need while he’s gone.  He comes home to wait on me again.

Chris, you honor me.  I’m the luckiest woman on the world.
